I am an experienced, classically trained rider, teacher and USDF judge who has studied with, among others, Jean-Froissard, George Morris, Mike Matthews and Lendon Grey. I have added to my system the understanding and appreciation of the biomechanics of the female rider pioneered by Mary Wanless and Peggy Cummings. As a horse trainer and riding instructor, I strive to apply well tested classical principles while distilling my methods into an innovative art form.
My goal is the sound basic training of the rider and horse that produces lasting results. I personally tailor instruction to suit the needs of each student. Riders are treated as valued friends and I take much care to give each student the experience needed:
- Children 7 and up
- Experienced riders
- Adults
- Re-riders, (older adults getting back into horses after a gap)
